The Royal Astronomical Society asked us to move their full web infrastructure to a secure and scalable environment. Their setup was split across several VPS accounts and required regular maintenance. This created extra cost and made long term management more complex.

We planned and delivered a full migration to a single AWS setup. This brought together a mix of Drupal and Joomla websites along with their NextCloud system. We carried out full security audits, recovered data where needed, and prepared a clean structure that would be easy to maintain.

The migration was completed with zero downtime. Performance improved, security increased, and ongoing running costs dropped. The new setup is far more cost effective for RAS and much simpler for their team to manage. Their entire system now sits on a stable, future friendly environment that supports long term growth.
